  1. Line a 500g loaf tin with baking parchment and preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas mark 4.
  2. Stir together the flour, cocoa powder, bicarb, salt and sugar. Mix the treacle water, vegetable oil and prunes. Stir together the two mixtures and pour into the prepared tin.
  3. Bake for 35 minutes, until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool in the tin.
