Sausages with Red Peppers (2)

Instructions
  1. Seperate the sausages and prick them with a fork. Preheat oven to 180 C Gas 4.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil with the garlic clove in a shallow flameproof casserole. When the garlic is well browned remove and discard.
  3. Put in the sausages and turn in the hot oil to brown all over. Pour in the wine and let it bubble up. Put into the oven for 25 to 30 minutes until the sausages are nicely browned but still moist.
  4. Meanwhile cook the peppers under a hot grill until the skin has blistered all over. Peel , deseed and cut into strips.Dress with the remaining oil,salt and pepper.
  5. Serve the sausages accompanied by the red pepper salad.
