Chilli Chicken Pittas (2)
Instructions
  1. Mix together the spring onions, garlic, oil and lemon juice. Add the salt, honey, paprika, chilli powder and fresh chilli.
  2. Cut the chicken into 1″ cubes and stir imto the above ingredients. Leave for at least 20 minutes but longer if you can- 1-2 hours would be good.
  3. Mix the ingredients for the sauce
  4. Heat a griddle pan until it is very hot and scatter over the chicken. Cook for about 8 minutes, turning once, until the pieces are crisp and shiny golden brown on the outside but still juicy within.
  5. Divide the chicken between the hot pitta bread or baps and add the lettuce and yoghurt sauce. Serve immediately.
