A Vietnamese way with chicken from ” The Best of Nicole Routhier”. You can replace the chicken with Duck or Prawns, adjusting coking times as needed.

  1. Heat the oil in a wok over a high heat. Add the onion and stir fry until lightly browned.
  2. Add the chicken and stir fry for about 3 minutes until browned.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger and continue to stir fry until fragrant. Stir in the honey, fish sauce, soy sauce and 5 spice powder.
  4. Toss to combine the ingredients and cook until the chicken is nicely glazed with the sauce, about 3 minutes. Transfer to a hot platter.
  5. Sprinkle with the black pepper and garnish with coriander. Serve with rice and a vegetable dish.
